Glencoe by Greg-McKinnon Glencoe by Greg-McKinnon
Last week I made what felt like a pilgrimage. I woke at 4am and drove the two hours to shoot sunrise on roadside Rannoch Moor; Loch Ba and Lochan na h-achlaise. I had an amazing morning and got very lucky with weather and light.

I took this image at sunset later that day at the entrance to Glencoe. It's an unbelievable landscape and I can see why it is so well photographed. Even so I didn't see another photographer during the 8 hours of daylight I spent there :)

I hope you like it, more to come!

Sounds like you spent a lovely day in a wonderful place. Well, apart from the early rise but I guess that was worth it. The picture is definitely beautiful.

Thanks! I'm guilty of being a bit heavy handed on the saturation sometimes but I try not to change anything too strongly from how it was at the time. This is how it was out of the camera after contrast, saturation and sharpening adjustments.
